A & J Transport is seeking experienced CDL Class B Dump Truck Drivers to handle jobs throughout Southern Virginia and Northern North Carolina. This is a full-time position offering a stable career with a reputable company. We are looking for safety-conscious and reliable drivers to join our team.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience as a dump truck driver.
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Clean driving record, with a current motor vehicle report from the DMV.
- Current DOT medical card.

Experienced Diesel Mechanic Technician
Positions to Hire: 2 (One 1st shift: 7am – 5pm, One 2nd shift: 3pm – 12am. Both shifts require working every other Saturday from 8am – 2pm)
Job Type: Full-time
A & J Transport is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to maintain and repair our expanding fleet of heavy trucks and trailers. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both electrical and mechanical diesel engine diagnostics and repair. This role involves in-shop and occasional on-site work, ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package for the right experienced professional.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a heavy diesel mechanic.
- Strong experience with diesel engine diagnostics and electrical systems.
- Experience with PACCAR, Cummins, and CAT engines is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with industry software such as Davie4, Cummins Insight, ESA, and Bendix, Allison is a plus.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug test.
- Must possess own set of tools appropriate for the position (specialty and diagnostic tools provided by A & J Transport).
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Valid Virginia driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.

Diesel Mechanic

- Valid Virginia driver’s license and personal transportation.
