To ensure the safety and health of all pets, we require a valid health certificate from a veterinarian. This certificate must confirm your dog’s current vaccination status. We also recommend providing two one-gallon Ziploc bags of your dog’s current food. Sudden diet changes can cause stomach upset in dogs, and maintaining their regular food helps ensure digestive comfort during transit. We provide everything else needed for a comfortable journey, including bedding, water, and care.
What is the difference between private and shared canine transport?
A private ride is a direct, exclusive service dedicated to transporting only your dog. It follows a direct route to a single destination, ideal for clients who prioritize speed and exclusivity. A shared ride, on the other hand, involves transporting multiple pets belonging to different clients along a pre-planned route. This is a more economical option, but it is not a direct route and involves multiple pickups and deliveries.
Can I track the GPS location of the transport vehicle?
For the safety and security of all pets in our care and the privacy of our drivers, we do not offer real-time GPS tracking to clients. However, we provide regular updates on your dog’s journey and estimated arrival times to keep you informed.
Is door-to-door delivery provided?
Yes, we typically provide door-to-door delivery service. We deliver your dog directly to your specified address, unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance, or if the delivery location is inaccessible due to remote location or other logistical constraints.
Does someone need to be present at pickup and delivery?
Yes, it is essential for someone to be present at both the pickup and delivery locations to ensure a smooth and safe transfer of your dog.
What payment methods are accepted?
We offer flexible payment options. You can pay the full transport fee upfront, or opt for our standard payment schedule: half of the transport fee is due 7 days before the scheduled transport, and the remaining balance is due 3 days before delivery. We accept payments via Zelle, Apple Pay, ACH transfers, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Certified checks are also accepted, but we do not accept personal checks.
