Employment Requirements to Join Our Team
To become a valued member of the Green Lines Transportation team, candidates must meet the following essential requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL: Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License from your state of residence.
- Driving Record: A responsible driving history is crucial. We require no more than 2 moving violations within the last 12 months, and no more than 4 in the past 3 years.
- Accident History: Safety is paramount. Applicants should have no more than 1 preventable accident in the last 12 months.
- Substance Violations: We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy. No DUIs, DWIs, or similar violations are permitted within the last 5 years.
- Age Requirement: Applicants must be a minimum of 22 years of age.
- Experience: Drivers are required to have either 1 year of verifiable flatbed experience or 2 years of verifiable experience operating Tractor/Trailer equipment.
- Training Program: Drivers who do not meet the experience criteria are required to complete a comprehensive 4-week training program to ensure they are ready to meet Green Lines’ high standards.
- Student Drivers: Student drivers are welcome to apply, provided they can furnish training documents demonstrating a final GPA of 90% or higher from an accredited training school.

Competitive Pay and Benefits for Our Drivers
We believe in rewarding our drivers for their hard work and dedication. Our pay structure is transparent and rewarding:
- Weekly Pay & Direct Deposit: Drivers are paid weekly via direct deposit for convenient and reliable compensation.
- Percentage Based Pay Scale: Our pay scale is calculated as a percentage of the rate, ensuring you directly benefit from the value of the loads you haul.
- Starting Pay: 24.5% of the rate.
- 3 Months of Service: Pay increases to 25.5%.
- 1 Year Anniversary: Pay increases to 27%.
- 2 Year Anniversary: Pay increases to 27.5%.
- 3 Year Anniversary: Pay increases to 28.25%.
- 4 Year Anniversary: Pay increases to 29%.
- 5+ Year Anniversary: Pay increases to 29.5%.
- Experienced Flatbed Drivers: Drivers with 2 or more years of verifiable flatbed experience start at a higher rate of 27%.
- Additional Earnings: Drivers receive 50% of all stop-off charges, detention pay, and no-load charges, further boosting your earning potential.
Paid Time Off and Holidays

- Vacation Time: Paid vacation time is accrued based on your average gross earnings from the previous year, with the number of days increasing with your years of service.
- After 90 Days: 5 days of vacation.
- Beginning Year 2: 10 days of vacation.
- Beginning Year 5: 15 days of vacation.
- Beginning Year 10: 20 days of vacation.
- Beginning Year 15: 25 days of vacation.
- Paid Holidays: Enjoy 9 paid holidays annually, allowing for valuable time off throughout the year.
