Additionally, candidates should have no more than three (3) traffic citations, or a combination of one (1) at-fault highway accident and two (2) citations within the last two years. This includes incidents in both public and private commercial vehicles.
- Successful Completion of Tests: Candidates must be able to successfully pass a road test to demonstrate driving proficiency. Furthermore, passing a DOT physical exam, pulmonary function test, and a controlled substance test are mandatory to ensure driver health and safety compliance.
