Before you can enjoy a cozy hangout, you need to establish a romantic relationship with one of the eligible characters. Cyberpunk 2077 offers several romance options, but hangouts are specifically available for Judy Alvarez, Panam Palmer, River Ward, and Kerry Eurodyne. Once you’ve updated to version 2.1, the first hangout will be initiated through a text message. Your romantic partner will reach out, suggesting a visit to your apartment. Access your phone messages by pressing and holding ‘T’ on PC or down on the D-pad on consoles. Respond to your partner and choose which apartment you’d like to meet at. Cyberpunk 2077 allows you to host hangouts in any apartment you own across Night City. Accepting the invitation will trigger the quest “I Really Want to Stay at Your House,” a clear homage to the popular anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
Head to your chosen apartment to begin your date. Inside, you can engage in conversations with your partner, exploring various topics and interacting with different elements within your apartment. When you’re ready to conclude the hangout, simply leave the apartment area. This will end the date and complete the quest, leaving you with a stronger bond and shared memories.

The beauty of hangouts lies in their replayability. If you feel you missed out on dialogue or activities during your first date, don’t worry! After the initial hangout, a new text option will appear in your messages, allowing you to invite your partner again. To initiate a replayable hangout, open your messages, select the invitation text, and send it to your chosen partner. They will respond, and you can arrange another date, perhaps even at a different apartment to vary the experience. Note that there is a cooldown period: if you initiate another hangout immediately after finishing one, you’ll need to wait two in-game days before you can start another, even with a different partner. This cooldown encourages pacing and allows for a sense of time passing in your relationships.
Sending Gifts via Devilery Transport & Logistics: Showing Affection the Cyberpunk Way

A day after a hangout, you’ll receive a message from Devilery Transport & Logistics, a fictional company within Cyberpunk 2077, informing you about a special promotion for romantic gifts. This in-game delivery service adds another layer of immersion, making Night City feel more alive and interconnected. You can choose to send either a model vehicle or a flower bouquet for $200 Eurodollars. If you opt for a model vehicle, you have four stylish miniature cars to choose from: the Arch Nazaré in Minty Green, the Mizutani Shion in Neon Red, the Villefort Alvarado in Ice Blue, and the iconic Porsche 911 Turbo (930) in Sonic Silver. For flower bouquets, you can select from Poppy Red, Cornflower Blue, and Magnolia Pink. After choosing your gift and a personalized message, select your recipient and place the order. Then, wait at least 24 in-game hours. Your partner will then message you about the gift. Visiting them afterward will reveal the gift displayed in their home, along with a shard containing your heartfelt message.
