Join Green Lines: Driver Requirements
To become a valued member of the Green Lines Transportation family, candidates must meet the following essential requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL: Must hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License from your state of residence.
- Clean Driving Record: No more than 2 moving violations within the last 12 months, and no more than 4 moving violations over the past 3 years.
- Accident History: No more than 1 preventable accident in the last 12 months.
- Substance Abuse Record: No DUIs, DWIs, or similar violations within the past 5 years.
- Age Requirement: Minimum 22 years of age.
- Verifiable Experience: Drivers must possess either 1 year of verifiable flatbed experience or 2 years of verifiable experience operating Tractor/Trailer equipment.
- Training Program: Drivers not meeting the experience criteria are required to complete a comprehensive 4-week training program to ensure they are set up for success.
- Student Drivers: Student drivers are welcomed and must provide training documentation demonstrating a final GPA of 90% or higher from an accredited training school.

Competitive Pay Scale and Benefits at Green Lines
We believe in rewarding our drivers for their dedication and hard work. That’s why Green Lines Transportation offers a competitive pay scale based on a percentage of the rate, paid weekly via direct deposit:
Starting Pay: 24.5%
- After 3 months: 25.5%
- 1 Year Anniversary: 27%
- 2 Year Anniversary: 27.5%
- 3 Year Anniversary: 28.25%
- 4 Year Anniversary: 29%
- 5+ Year Anniversary: 29.5%
(*Experienced Flatbed Drivers Start Higher*) Drivers with 2 or more years of verifiable flatbed experience start at an impressive 27%!
Additional Earnings: Drivers also receive 50% of all stop-off, detention, and no-load charges, further boosting your earning potential.
Generous Vacation and Holiday Time
Green Lines Transportation understands the importance of time off. Our vacation policy is designed to reward your loyalty and time with the company:
- After 90 days of employment: 5 days of paid vacation
- Beginning Year 2: 10 days of paid vacation
- Beginning Year 5: 15 days of paid vacation
- Beginning Year 10: 20 days of paid vacation
- Beginning Year 15: 25 days of paid vacation
